Fenix FD65 Flashlight
Description:
FD65 is fitted with Cree XHP35 HI LED’s, plus high efficient TIR optical lens, it emits a max output of 3800 lumens and beam distance of 410 meters. Rotating the focusing ring moves the head forward and backward, thus regulating the focus between spot- and floodlight. Click the H switch to activate High output and increase brightness, while L switch to activate Low output and decrease brightness. Powered by four 18650 rechargeable Li-ion batteries, 2 batteries can be used for emergency use. In addition, the IP68 rated protection, momentary on strobe and SOS function make FD65 perfect for caving, outdoor photography, searching and rescuing.

ON/OFF
With the light off, press and hold the L switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on the Low output.
With the light off, press and hold the H switch for 0.5 seconds to turn on the High output.
With the light on, press and hold any switch for 0.5 seconds to turn off the light.
Note: If the battery level gets too low, the light can only be lit on the output level that the battery level can activate.
Output Selection
With the light on, single click the L switch for brightness decrease, and single click the H switch for brightness increase.
Flash Mode
In any state, press and hold the L switch for 1.2 seconds to enter SOS; press and hold the H switch for 1.2 seconds to enter strobe; click one of the switch once again to turn back to general brightness level.
Spot and Floodlight Adjustment
Rotate the focusing ring to regulate between spotlight and floodlight. Counterclockwise to gradual spotlight, clockwise to gradual floodlight. (The factory default is floodlight, and it will be a little tight for first focusing ring rotating)
Lockout Function
Lock: with the light unlocked, simultaneously press and hold the two switches for over 2 seconds. The light will blink twice on Low and then switch off to indicate locked status.
Unlock: with the light locked, simultaneously press and hold the two switches for over 2 seconds. The light will be unlocked and activated on last used brightness.
With the light locked, press any switch will activate 2 blinks and then switch off to indicate locked status.
Intelligent Overheat Protection
The light will accumulate a lot of heat when used on Turbo output level for extended periods. When high temperature ( >65 Deg ) is detected or after 3-minute working on Turbo, the light will automatically step down by a few lumens to reduce temperature.
Low-voltage Warning
When the voltage level drops below the preset level, the flashlight is programmed to downshift to a lower brightness
level until Eco output is reached. When this happens in Eco output mode, the flashlight blinks three times every five minutes to remind you to replace the batteries. To ensure normal use, the flashlight will not turn off automatically and will work till the batteries protection activate.
Note: 1. The light can be lit both with 2 and 4 batteries, insert any group of batteries as the location hole shown, the light works normal. 2. When the battery level gets too low, turning up the brightness will activate the battery protection, thus the light will switch off automatically. Take out the batteries and reload, the light will activate on Low, or replace batteries for normal use.
Battery Replacement
Unscrew the tail cap to insert the battery with the polarity markings correct direction according to the signs on the bottom with the anode side (+) towards the light head, then screw the tail cap back on.
